An early summer morning near my home in Wiltshire. Took this ages ago - hopefully nowadays I'd handle the sky better (not least as I now have some filters) but I still like the generally optimistic feel.

Wiltshire Sunrise
Actually taken at sunrise but looked so washed out I discovered the joy of warming it up in photoshop. So a shameful cheat but I still like the look of it. Treading a dangerous line there . . .
The wonky gate (not to mention the boring sky) just seemed right for a mildly sinister mono conversion.
This was one of my first autumn/winter rambles with the camera and I've learned to love the low sun. Not least because it gives such nice light at a civilised hour of the day.
A new favourite place - Southwick Country park, which I can't wait to see in other seasons and weather.
Had to have a play in mono. Couldn't help myself
Those reddish tints always strike me as slightly unreal, but it really did look that way.
Power
The sun going down in Barbados. Had to take a few shots didn't i.
I really like this twisted old tree so got up early one day. I've deliberately cooled the colours down a bit to emphasise the silhouette and slightly spooky feel. It's on a crossroads, you know . . .
this is one of the big ditches at Avebury. I mainly took the shot because of the low sun casting the tree's shadow through the ditch - it seemed a good way to illustrate the size of it.
