  • I know - I cut the wing, and I wish I'd got greater DoF as well, but being handheld at 300mm I was pretty pleased to get this much. Also, as I normally favour fairly dark, contrasty shots this felt like a nice change. I'm trying to get more like this these days.

  • The Vine-leaved Moon Maple - just looks amazing against a green background because the red leaves really leap out. You almost start to get what Pollock was on about (sorry!).
